Pruning: Pruning is best done in late winter or early spring, before new growth starts. This promotes a more bushy and dense form. Overgrown plants can be pruned back by one-third of their height to encourage rejuvenation.

Fertilization: Apply a balanced slow-release fertilizer in the early spring to enhance growth and the overall health of the plant. A second application in late summer can further support its well-being.

Winter Protection: In colder areas of its growing zones, consider applying mulch around the base to protect the roots. For particularly cold winters, wrapping the plant in burlap can offer extra protection.

Simply choose a well-draining container about 18-24 inches in diameter and fill it with a high-quality potting mix blended with compost. Plant the shrub in the container, making sure the root ball is level with the soil, and water it generously. Place the container in a spot where it will get at least 4-6 hours of sunlight daily.
