Growth rate: Moderate growth rate with a mature height of 15-25 feet and a width of 5-10 feet.

Pruning: Lightly prune to shape in the late winter or early spring, removing any dead or unwanted branches.

Fertilization: Feed with a balanced, slow-release granular fertilizer in early spring, prior to the emergence of new growth.

Winter Protection: While naturally resilient to frost, consider shielding the tree from harsh winter winds or heavy snow loads using burlap or a similar material.

Choose a location with well-draining soil and full sun exposure. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and of the same depth. Position the tree ensuring the top of the root ball is level with the ground surface. Refill with the excavated soil, patting gently to remove air pockets. Water thoroughly after planting to settle the soil. Mulching around the base can help retain soil moisture and suppress weeds.

The Baby Blue Spruce thrives when placed in full sun and requires deep watering once a week. During prolonged dry spells or intense summer heat, increase the watering frequency, ensuring the soil remains moderately moist but not soggy.
