The Kentia Palm, scientifically known as Howea forsteriana, is an elegant, feathery palm native to Lord Howe Island off the east coast of Australia. It's characterized by its slender, arching fronds and upright growth, making it a popular choice for interior decoration. The deep green, glossy leaves cascade gracefully, providing a tropical and sophisticated feel to any indoor space.

Growth rate: Slow growth rate; can take years to reach its full height of up to 10 feet or more in household conditions.

Watering & Sunlight

Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry to the touch. Typically once a week during summer and less in winter months.

Bright, indirect light. While the Kentia Palm can tolerate lower light conditions better than many other palms, it thrives best in a spot with bright, filtered sunlight.
