Pruning: Trim the Sea Foam Camellia after it finishes blooming in the spring to maintain shape and remove any dead or crowded branches.

Fertilization: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer designed for acid-loving plants in early spring and again in mid-summer to bolster growth and blooms.

Winter Protection: While it's winter-hardy, consider applying a layer of mulch around its base for added insulation against severe frosts, especially in the northern parts of its growth range.

Choose a location with well-draining soil and partial to full shade. Dig a hole twice as wide as the root ball and the same depth. Position the Camellia in the hole so that the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface. Backfill with soil and tamp down to eliminate air pockets. Water deeply and apply a 2-3 inch layer of organic mulch around the plant, avoiding direct contact with the stem. This helps in moisture retention and temperature regulation.
