More Details

The Pink Dogwood is a beautiful ornamental tree that produces stunning pink flowers in the spring, making it a popular choice for gardens and landscaping. As a deciduous tree, it sheds its leaves in the fall, allowing the sun to shine through and highlighting the intricate pattern of the tree's branching.

Growth rate: Fast Growing; growing 1-2 feet per year. Reaches a height and spread of 15-25 feet.

Pruning: Prune Pink Dogwoods in late fall or early winter, removing dead, diseased, or crossing branches.

Fertilization: Fertilize in early spring with a slow-release fertilizer formulated for acid-loving plants.

Winter Protection: In colder zones, provide winter protection by mulching around the base of the tree and wrapping burlap around the trunk.

When planting Pink Dogwood, it is important to choose a location that receives partial shade, well-drained soil, and protection from strong winds. Dig a hole that is twice as wide and deep as the root ball, and gently loosen the roots before planting. Backfill the hole with soil and water thoroughly. If planting in a pot, make sure it has drainage holes and use a high-quality potting mix. Ensure the pot is large enough to accommodate the roots and provide adequate drainage.

The Pink Dogwood prefers partial shade to full sun and should be watered deeply once a week, especially during dry spells. Make sure to water at the base of the tree to prevent the leaves and flowers from getting wet, which can cause diseases.

Every product typically ships in 1-2 days. You will receive a shipping confirmation with your tracking number once your item(s) ship.
